Dream of A Ridiculous Man (Extra Credit--Fall 2006)
Award winning actor George Dillon takes on tour a one-man show version of "The Dream of a Ridiculous Man." Suppose Dillon was coming to NSU and you were in charge of publicity. Choose a quote or two from "Dream" that you would use as sound bites in a radio advertisement for the performance. Why would you choose this line/these lines?

I thought that the 'Dream of A Ridiculous Man" was pretty good. I mean obviously I didn't think it was good that the guy ended up killing himself. But he is right I think sometimes the problem is in your heart and not in your head. For instance when you are in love with a person and you break up, your heart broken for instance your heart hurts and not your head. This man was going to kill himself by shooting himself in the head, but he shot himself in the heart because his heart hurt and not his head. I believe that this author had a point. Not everything is in your head, it can be in your heart. Sometimes the worst pain is caused by your heart!!!!
